Sales Manager (APAC) - Singapore

Due to rapid expansion, we are now seeking Sales Manager (APAC) to be based in Singapore. Reporting to Sales Director – APAC, successful candidate will be and be responsible for generating new business sales revenue from software licensing and services sales across Asia Pacific.

Job Description
Due to rapid expansion, we are now seeking Sales Manager (APAC) to be based in Singapore. Reporting to Sales Director – APAC, successful candidate will be and be responsible for generating new business sales revenue from software licensing and services sales across Asia Pacific.
You will need to have a broad understanding of the investment/trading processes in (domain names), and with an understanding of risk management principles, specifically with respect to traded Market and Credit risk, and associated regulation.
Requirements:
• A solid educational background ideally to Degree level or higher
• Fluent in English and at least one other Asian languages will be a plus
• A proven track record in enterprise software sales within the financial/risk/trading markets
• Knowledge and the interests in financial instrument valuations and risk analysis methods
• Confidence in dealing with senior clients and excellent presentation skills
• Experienced at selling technology solutions into the financial/commodities/risk/trading industries
• Prior knowledge of OpenLink’s trading and risk management software – FINDUR (Financial Services) and ENDUR (Commodity/Power/Gas/Oil) will be a great plus.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall sales cycle development (there will be support from Technical teams)
• Head pipeline development through prospecting and opportunity/lead development
• Identification and qualification of revenue generating opportunities within the target prospect base
Controlling the sales process throughout the sales cycle, involving subject matter experts where necessary to ensure our client has the best chance of winning every opportunity
• Maximising revenue opportunities for the company, and delivering to/exceeding annual sales quota
• Commercial and contractual negotiations
• Travelling is essential to this position
