A boutique investment house operating a Funds Management business is looking to hire a Funds Operation Office for their growing team.

Our client is a boutique investment house operating a Funds Management business, an ASX listed managed fund.
The Role
Suitable candidate for the Operations Analyst role will ensure timely settlement of investments, including market instruments (e.g. bonds, equities, futures, swaps etc.) and private deals (e.g. loans), reviewing and ensuring accuracy of weekly and monthly management reports and monthly NAV statements and ensuring corporate / fund and transactional documents are properly executed and filed (softcopies and hardcopies).
You will also be responsible for setting up and administering operational requirements in relation to all investments/transactions in an effective and efficient manner, processing capital calls including preparing fund documents and coordinating payments for subscriptions, timely and accurately.
You will also be the key contact for fund administrator, banks, brokers and other service providers and counterparties on daily operational matters, monitoring and project cash-flows, perform KYC for investments base on internal guidelines, check valuation of investments base on internal policies and prepare tax filings and other regulatory reports.
Your Profile
To be successful for this role, you will need to be a Degree / Diploma holder, ideally with at least 2-3 years' of experience in a similar role in a fund, bank or financial institution. You need to be familiar with settlements and treasury functions, and preferably, loan administration and experience in fund administration / accounting and legal documentation is an advantage.
Apart from being meticulous, analytical and has an aptitude for numbers, you should possess strong language skills, with ability to read / review legal and transactional documents. You must also be committed, responsible, reliable, motivated and a team-player who is always ready and willing to help colleagues and share ideas. You must also be pro-active, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.
