A boutique investment house operating a Funds Management business is looking to hire Loans Agency Analysts for their growing team.

Our client is a boutique investment house operating a Funds Management business, an ASX listed managed fund.
The Role
As a loans agency analyst, you will be have to ensure that all contractual duties and obligations of company as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent are performed effectively and efficiently. Key responsibilities would include process Utilisation Requests and arrange for drawdown of funds timely, perform interest and fee calculations, coordinate interest and fee payments as well as repayments by borrowers.
In addition, you will also need to ensure that all expenses and fees due are billed accurately and promptly, monitor and ensure collection of outstanding payments, facilitate timely reporting from borrowers to lenders, processing and execute waivers, amendments, requests etc efficiently.
Apart from ensuring proper records and safekeeping of Security Documents, you will be supporting Director Agency and the deal teams to achieve a smooth Signing / Closing where you will be reviewing the facility agreements and other transaction documents, close co-ordination with all parties on signing logistics and ensure Conditions Precedent are met before drawdown; monitor and ensure Conditions Subsequent are satisfied by the stipulated deadlines.
You will also need to ensure bank accounts required for the transaction (transaction accounts) and operational accounts (CAMA) are opened timely, orchestrate payments at Closing, contribute to delivering state-of-the art Agency services by acting as a consultant to lenders / borrowers on all queries relating to agency matters and facility documents, giving advice and solutions, implementing internal procedures promptly and accurately for each transaction, completing internal documentation and checklists within 2 weeks of Signing / Closing and ensuring deal documents are complete and stored properly, both in hardcopies and electronically, within 2 weeks of Signing / Closing.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Degree / Diploma holder, ideally with about 2-3 years' experience in a similar role with good experience in loans operations and/or documentation is an advantage.
You need to be someone who is meticulous and analytical, preferably with strong language skills and an aptitude for numbers, committed, responsible and reliable. You are motivated and a team-player, always ready and willing to help colleagues and share ideas. You need to also be pro-active, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.
