FX Sales Associate

The role requires working in a team as an integral member by backing up and supporting the other existing sales people and their clients. It will require a highly motivated and hardworking person to be responsible for the daily FX execution, preparation of market commentaries, and provision of general support to the Sales team. The main client focus will be MNC's and Local Corporates in Singapore. The products covered will include: FX, Interest Rate Swaps, Fixed Income, Structured Finance and some Commodities.

Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Engineering required
• Financial markets experience is essential
• Previous sales experience and coverage of institutional investors would be ideal
• Knowledge of FX and FX Option essential
• Able to understand Corporate Financial Statements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a trading floor environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across different levels of the organisation
• Mandarin would be advantageous
• Hardworking with strong teamwork ethic
• High level of attention to detail
