Costilla Lodge Seasonal Manager

Job Description:

Hands on manager to greet, host, serve, cook and clean for exclusive guest lodge located in the mountains of North Eastern New Mexico.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the guest experience, including but not limited to:

• Communication with guests prior to their arrival to determine special needs and requests
• Training of staff per standard operating procedures set out by ranch and guest services management
• Scheduling of four other employees
• Ordering of all necessary products through the head quarters lodge
• Recording and tracking guest fish catches
• General maintenance and grounds keeping
• Communication with the maintenance department all large and long term building and grounds keeping issues
• Work with Guest Services Management on the coming year’s budget needs

Requirements:

• Two years small guest lodge management
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen operations
• Familiarity with table service in a restaurant environment, preferably fine dining
• Familiarity with housekeeping in a hospitality setting
• Experience in scheduling and labor control
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• General knowledge of e-mail programs
• Working knowledge of ordering and inventory systems
• Well organized with positive communication skills
• Clean driving record
