Shenandoah National Park has culinary opportunities available for the 2012 season. We are looking for Grill Cooks & Line Cooks.
All culinary positions are responsible for the following:
• Follow procedures and directions of management
• Follows proper serving methods, including serving correct portion sizes
• Follows recipes and cooking procedures as directed by Executive Chef
• Ensure menu board is prepared and proper terms are used for all food items
• Break-down and cleaning of various stations
• Assist in preparing employee meals
• Should be capable of assuming responsibility for a short period of time without a manager present
• Inspects all areas at the end of the shift
• Position requires an extensive knowledge of basic cooking techniques – grilling, sauté, griddle, fryer, baking, broiling etc.
Many of our positions available offer you the ability to work through November. Employee Housing is also available at cost of $25 per week.
