The Sales Analyst (SA) will provide analytic and statistical data support to the Sales division of Moody's Analytics.
The Sales Analyst (SA) will provide analytic and statistical data support to the Sales division of Moody's Analytics. Reporting to the VP of Sales Analytics, the successful candidate will assist in tracking and improving the sales processes of a $750 million global sales organization with over 200 sales professionals.
- Maintain and expand on existing tracking and forecasting systems .
- Regular production and delivery of standardized reports depicting book of business, sales forecasts, pipeline summary, etc. These reports are distributed department-wide and are some of the key analysis tools used to manage and track business performance.
- Expand on the existing tools to help better understand performance of the sales organization and identify problems and opportunities early enough to "make a difference".
- Create ad-hoc analyses in order to support marketing and sales strategy.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of sales data used to create the Strategic Plan and Annual Budget.
- Conduct analyses of sales processes in order to help leverage sales efforts and make Moody's Analytics a "World Class Sales Organization".

Qualifications
- The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytic, organization, verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong academic record required, preferably in a quantitative discipline. - Individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented and be able to manage several projects at once.
- Strong Excel skills and work with a relational database required.
- Experience with Salesforce.com desired.
- MS Access, SQL and VB programming experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required - Previous experience in a financial institution is preferred
- Individual must be pro-active, creative and interested in process improvement
