Mold Designer 

Our client, a high quality thermoplastics injection and die-cast mold manufacturer will like to seeks motivated high calibre Singaporeans, PRs and foreigners (Indian, PRC ,etc) to join their organisation to design complex plastic injection molds:- 

Salary Range: SGD S$1,500 to SGD $ 1,800 
with benefits :- annual leave, medical leave, etc. 
Contract : 2 years 
Location: Singapore (East- Central) 
Office hours - 5 working days 

JOB SCOPE: 
• Study product data (3D/2D) 
• Prepare Design For Manufacturing (DFM) as per customers’ requirement/specification 
• Prepare assembly/details/BOM/DVR drawings 
• Analyse and troubleshoot mold related problems 


REQUIREMENTS: 
• Diploma in Precision Engineering or relevant field 
• Min. 5 years in Mold Design Experience 
• Knowledge of plastic materials 
• Knowledge of Tool room machining activities 
• Knowledge of CAD, UGS NX, Solid Works to work on the design and development of plastic and injection molding molds and fixtures 
• Experience on application of Hydraulics/Pneumatics in mold functioning 
• Knowledge in 
1. Unigraphics NX5 / NX6 
2. Autocad 
3. Moldflow 2010 
4. Microsoft Office 


KNOWLEDGES:- 

Provides support by preparing standard layouts, detail drawings and assembly drawings. Create and revise mold and fixture designs - Check drawing dimensions and tolerances, component materials and finishes, material and finish specifications, relation of drawing to other associated drawings, and checks relationship of part to assembly. Utilize knowledge of various molding techniques and processes, machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings. Develop accurate 3D solid model assemblies of molds and/or fixtures- Produce detailed drawings of products
