Bank Product Communications Director
Headquarters: McLean, VA
Summary:
Develops and implements business communications strategies, manages daily and weekly communication channels and oversees knowledge management system for branch network.
Responsibilities:
Manages team of communication associates focused on product, operations, program, and urgent communications. Also manages team of knowledge management associates.
Leads the development of communications strategy through partnership with other departments to message critical information to our branch associates. Ensures our weekly, daily and urgent communication channels are executed effectively through direct management of the communications team.
Drive and expand knowledge management strategy for branch network of 1000 branches. Ensures the knowledge management system for our branch associates is best in class through the BAU management of the system/team as well as strategic leadership for enhancements.
Partners with our corporate communications team for alignment on key messaging and strategy to mutually support the goals of both organizations.
Evaluate proposed projects and programs for strategic and tactical communication needs.
Advise business and operational partner executives on associate communication needs and delivery options.
Develop and execute communication plans for large-scale programs and rollouts.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
7+ years experience in marketing and/or communications, with at least 2+ years experience with banking.
At least 3 year experience in People management / leading teams
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience with knowledge management
3+ years Banking experience
