Human Resources Generalist
We have an excellent opportunity for a strong Human Resources Generalist to join a service driven HR team of 14 HR professionals.
This role will require an HR professional who has dealt with all aspects of Human Resources. The position is responsible for ensuring alignment of business objectives, work cultures, and human resources programs/policies to facilitate the organization with achieving its business goals while minimizing risk to the firm. The qualified candidates must possess a sense of urgency and strong client skills and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
- Experience being accountable for a 500+ client group
- Experience providing all functions of Human Resources as a strategic business partner to a fast-paced and changing organization
- Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong overall business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp business issues and understand business strategy
- Adept at working with management to influence/facilitate change, implement strategy and accomplish objectives
- Interpersonal relations: particularly tact, sensitivity, professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
- Excellent project management skills and experience with a drive for results
- The ability to work independently and to use good judgment in decision –making
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented individual who demonstrates a high level of accuracy
- Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Fast paced environment, ability to juggle different types of clients and populations, integrating tact and diplomacy
Requirements:
- 8-12 years progressive HR experience with a foundation of knowledge in key HR disciplines in the financial services industry
- Must have experience supporting front office businesses
- Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- HRIS experience a plus; knowledge of Oracle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel a plus
- Compensation experience
- Strong ER background
- Previous experience in Recruitment
- Basic Employment Law understanding (US)
- Knowledge of Immigration Issues
