Housekeeper for Luxury Alaska Chalets

We appreciate your interest in joining us in Alaska for the 2012 Season.  We are looking for a housekeeper that knows the meaning of pristine! Our guests expect it, and their gratuities show it! 

Our Job:

Housekeeping of 3 luxury chalets, laundry, stock supplies, gardening, plus front desk reservations 1 day pr/wk. May 20 to September 8; hours vary.  Pre-season spring clean and inventory of all chalets, tour vehicles, and supplies as well as laying in garden beds.

Our Ideal Canidate: 

Good health, physical stamina, positive attitude, honesty and the ability to work cooperatively are necessary. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; Must desire to provide exceptionally clean rooms and superior service for guests.

Sleep & Eat:

Private housing is available on our chalet premises and provided at no cost to the employee. One common building houses a private bedroom and bathroom, common sitting area, and laundry facilities used by housekeeper. Bedroom has one queen bed, dresser and color television. Common area has microwave, refrigerator, lounge chair, table and shelves. Employees are provided towels and bed linens upon start of employment, but are expected to do their own laundry. Shared laundry facilities are also provided at no cost to the employee. Wireless internet is available if you bring your laptop.

Other Perks:

$1700.00 Salary per month; $100.00 food stipend per month; housekeeping gratuities; room accommodations; end-of-season bonus or airline ticket.  Applicants successfully completing the recruitment process may exchange their end of season bonus for travel arrangements to and from Alaska.

Getting Here & Getting Around: 

Your may choose to provide your own transportation to and from Anchorage, Alaska if coming in from out of state. You should verify your ability to secure this transportation, along with available dates of arrival & departure before submitting your application to us. We will be happy to provide the necessary round trip travel arrangements from Anchorage to Wasilla once we know your travel itinerary.  Once you are on-site, if you do not have your own vehicle, on-site bikes are available.  City metro bus lines are close by for use. A monthly ride to the grocery store is provided by company car.
