JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading Swiss financial institution is looking to add to their international wealth management operations in line with a growth strategy for 2012. They are looking to add an experienced investment manager into their office in New York to manage advisory and discretionary investment portfolios on the behalf of HNW private clients.

The role:

• Build relationships and increase assets under management in a highly entrepreneurial environment that involves extensive client development, prospecting, and consultative selling.

• Advisory services for international High Net Worth Clients on internal and third-party investments

• Manage and allocate assets in accordance to the needs of the client.

• Participation in client meetings and at client events as well as active building of the long-term client relationships.

• Develop financial and retirement plans that match client objectives, risk tolerances, and goals.

Requirements:

• 5 years+ experience working as a investment manager / advisor.

• Strong knowledge across traditional asset classes.

• Experience with a range of investment products and strategies.

• Experience in a client facing role and with performing due diligence.

• Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry.

• Previous experience of managing relationships.

• Strong client acquisition and business development skills
