- Manage the finance, reporting, budgeting and planning of Banamex USA. - Lead finance team to asses business performance, forecast financials, analyze key financial drivers, track financial performance, manage costs and maintain a high standard of controls - Ensure timely regulatory reporting and internal control of the Bank to regulators. - Work with Bank examiners, FDIC, ARR and KPMG during their examination. - Deliver on financial objectives including expense goals - Create an efficient business and reporting framework for a fast growing and complex business - Establish internal control procedures to ensure that each area is performing efficiently and in accordance with bank, and regulatory policies. - Coordinate centralized services functions with other departments to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and cost effective manner. - Recommend policy changes that would increase operational efficiencies or enhance the level of control. - Coordinate Treasury activities with New York Treasury.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred - At least 15 years experience in a Financial Controller/Manager focused role - Knowledge of key financial systems and processes - Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills - High level of influence skills - Understanding of the key drivers of the investment and consumer banking businesses including customer segmentation strategies - Knowledge of GAAP.
