Staff Accountant – top hedge fund - Old Greenwich, CT based

 My client is a leading multibillion dollar hedge fund, with offices across; Americas, Europe, Asia. The fund has been highly profitable since inception, and is rapidly growing. As a part of their expansion they are now looking for a staff accountant to report into their accounting manager based in Connecticut.

The role will include, statutory accounting: (all applicants should have a proven knowledge in the below)

-          AR/AP,

-          G/L entries,

-          Bank/account reconciliations,

-          Due diligence,

-          Monthly-Quarterly-YE closings,

-          Some payroll knowledge preferred

-          Bachelor’s degree
