Shift Supervisor - Production

Numbers: 1

Industry: Petroleum Jelly, Candle

Job Role:

• Supervise the shift operations and the operators.
• Make sure that there are minimum losses.
• Generate and submit reports about production targets, criteria, achievements, losses and any irregularities on daily / weekly / monthly basis.

Qualification(s):

• Minimum A-Levels and at least a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering.

Competencies:

• Should have good managerial qualities.
• Should be able to handle a shift of several workers.
• Good communication skills in Kiswahili and English.
• Must be IT literate.

Experience:

• About 5 years of experience in handling shifts and in production line for cosmetics manufacturing.

Shift Incharge - Soap Production

Numbers: 2

Industry: Soap

Job Role:

• Supervise the shift operations and the operators.
• Make sure that there are minimum losses.

• Minimum Diploma holder in Chemical Engineering.

Competencies:

• About 5 years of experience in handling shifts and in production line for soap manufacturing.

Chemist

Numbers: 3

Industry: Soaps and Detergents

Job Role: Responsible for laboratory analysis (purity and concentrations) and concentrate preparations of chemicals and components involved in the manufacturing of soaps and detergents.

Qualification(s): Minimum Degree holder in the field of Science with specialization in Chemistry.

Competencies: Should have good chemical background, concentration power, high energy and alertness of mind. Must be a good observer.

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Chemist involved in manufacturing of detergents and soaps.

Quality Inspectors

Numbers: 2

Industry: Soaps and Detergents

Job Role: Responsible for quality control and analysis of chemicals and components involved in the manufacturing of soaps and detergents and the final product.

Qualification(s):

• Minimum Graduate in the field of Chemistry with Certificate in Quality Analysis and
• Control or Diploma holder in Quality Control.

Competencies: Should have good knowledge of the subject, concentration power, high energy and alertness of mind. Must be a good observer.

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Quality Control Incharge involved in quality analysis in soap and detergents industry.
