Finance & Compliance Officer - REF:2012/04/001

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, the Compliance Officer will work closely with the Financial Controller of CMMB-Kenya in management of the Kenya office programs.

The officer will also work closely with the local partners as well as coordination and communication between functions within the Kenya office.

The CO will report to the FC and will serve as a member of the in-country finance team.

This position's primary responsibility is ensuring compliance with donor and organizational policies for CMMB.

Working with the finance team and closely with the local partners, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational policies and practices.

He/she will be actively involved in grants management, assessments and close out processes.

The CO will implement all guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all government regulations and compliance with CMMB internal practices and controls, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization's mission.
