System Accountant

Opportunity for two System Accountants to join a leading global food manufacturer for a 6-9 month contract implementing SAP.

The Company

This global Manufacturing organisation is the leading supplier of speciality products to some of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. Currently operating in 30 countries, they have been at the forefront of the market since its early beginnings in the 1800’s and are recognised as being highly innovative due to their heavy focus on continued research and development. Due to the upcoming implementation of SAP into the business, they are currently seeking two Systems Accountants to join the business on a 6 to 9 month contract basis. The Role

Reporting to the CFO, the role of the System Accountant is both of a technical & consulting nature. You will have solid experience in implementing and supporting Financial ERP software with a particular focus on SAP. You will be responsible for mapping the chart of accounts and liaising with business partners to identify key functions and reports. You will be the key contact during the implementation and will be required to communicate regular progress and reports to senior managers and staff members across the company.

Your Profile

You will be CA/CPA qualified, and have previous SAP implementation experience preferably within a multinational organisation. Your solid understanding of accounting principles, coupled with your extensive knowledge of SAP and Excel reporting will see you succeed in this role. Excellent communication skills are a must as you need to deliver accounting information to IT professionals, and liaise with people at all levels of the business.
