An exciting new opportunity has become available with one of our top tier clients within their Business Intelligence (BI) team.
This role will be based within the Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and generation of reporting and analysis that accurately represent business performance.
Qualifications/Experience
• Sound SQL skills (ability to understand and query relational databases)
• Very strong Exception Reporting experience
• Sound experience managing integrated data management with large scale call centre Telephony.
• Sound experience designing and measuring effectiveness of decision trees.
• Sound experience of the operational management of call centre telephony systems.
• Knowledge of front-end reporting tools
• Knowledge of SAS products an advantage
• Tertiary qualifications in a numerate discipline preferably in finance, business or accounting or have equivalent experience in finance, business or accounting roles in a financial organisation
• Proficiency in all MS Office software. Advanced skills in MS Excel

The analyst will be required to understand the risk and compliance policies within the financial institution, with the ability to recommend and implement control reports that streamline this process. Therefore they will need to come from a Risk background.
A key focus of the role will be exception reporting and designing a policy and delegation process that sits across the end to end business.
Knowledge/Skills mandatory for this role;
• Financial Services/Collections experience
• Understanding of Finance and Credit Risk concepts such as NPV, Risk/Return, Optimisation, Collective Provisioning
• Strong customer service ethic

• Design, Build, Develop, Improve and Deliver Individual Performance and Incentive reporting
• Design, Build, Develop, Improve and Deliver Operational Metrics reporting
• Design, Build, Develop NPV and debt pricing models
• Assist in the design and development of an outsourcing capability including automated file extracts
• Work with Operational Performance to integrate Telephony MIS to single reporting
• Identify new requirements and potential enhancements to MIS reporting processes to ensure keep the MIS processes and reporting current to the business needs
• Assist with change management in MIS databases (e.g. testing of changes, etc)
• Deliver professional reporting solutions and facilitate electronic distribution to staff
