We are currently seeking a new addition to our Portfolio Management team in our Florida (Lake Mary) office. As a Portfolio Management Associate you will work directly with a Portfolio Manager responsible for several hundred million dollars in high net worth client assets. To that extent, you will be responsible for a variety of activities including, but not limited to:
• Creation and generation of proposals and customized analysis for prospective clients;
• Preparation of customized reports and analysis for existing clients and their advisors provided as part of the normal client review process;
• Trading and strategic rebalancing accounts, you will benefit from having experience with stock and bond trading;
• Mastering the technology used in the proposal, portfolio management and research processes.
• Communicating with clients, prospective clients and their advisors in the course of providing the highest degree of service;
• Scheduling of regular client reviews with the client, advisor and Rochdale portfolio manager;
The ideal candidate should be career focused, possess strong analytical skills, and have the enthusiasm to take on initiatives independently. You should be team oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Additional requirements include:
• MBA required; CFA designation or CFA in progress preferred
• 3-5 years work experience in finance preferred
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Presentation and communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and embrace responsibility
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent grammar and writing skills
• Intelligence and creativity
• Detail oriented
• Ability to influence people and extract information
