The successful candidate will be responsible for transaction management of OTC equity derivatives.
Transaction Management & Oversight:
- Ensure all transactions are booked propertly in the trading systems
- Ensure trades are updated to properly reflect events (expiries, call dates, resets, etc.)
- Ensure trades are updated to properly reflect corporate actions (dividents, stock splits, etc.)
- Ensure all amendements are properly reflected in the trading systems
- Ensure all controls reports are updated and enhance control criteria's as needed
- Validate that confirmations and/or offering memorandums are defined consistent with the system booking
- Document multi-leg and/or multi-systems bookings and valuation environments for trade structureds and ensure they are accurate and complete for P&L and risk purposes
- Document all non-traditional and/or experimental transactions
- Liaise with front office, market risk, valuations, P&L, IT, operations and other teams to resolve breaks and inform them about new/amended trades
- Develop booking templates that define all the key transaction attributes in conjunction with traders, risk management and valuations
- Recommend improved workflow between departments to increase efficiencies and controls
- Monitor the trends in volume and type of trade activity to ensure that risk systems and processes are fit for scale
- Work with IT to automate transaction workflow and create robust trade booking and trade activity monitoring tools
Requirements:
- CFA holder or at least Level 2 candidate
- Bachelor/Master's degree in the quantitative field such as Finance, Economics
- 3+ years of work experience in OTC Structured Products (in front office, middle office, risk management, and/or product control)
- Deep knowledge of equity derivatives and structured equity products
- High attention to detail and control-focused
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
