Position: ICT Sales Executive

Overview 

The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy through selling Business and Accounting software solutions to new clients and servicing existing ones.

Duties and responsibilities 
  • Selling Business and Accounting software solutions
  • Maintaining and updating a database of existing and potential clients
  • Developing sales proposals
  • Identifying sales opportunities and setting up initial sales meetings
  • Meeting clients and making presentations on software products
  • Following through and closing sales
  • Determining clients’ business requirements and advising them on appropriate software solutions
  • Answering any technical questions about the products
  • Writing sales reports
Skills and abilities 
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest in ICT and business issues
  • Ability to interpret technical language for non-technical people
  • Proposal and report-writing skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work well on your own or in a team
  • Results- oriented and self-motivated
Qualification Requirements and  work Experience
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or MSK Diploma. A Bachelors degree in Marketing will be an added advantage
  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • Three (3) years proven experience in selling Business software products
