Experienced hedge fund equity analyst - US, NY

We have three large US-based hedge fund clients looking for equity long short buyside analysts focused exclusively on one of the sectors listed below. Only send us your CV if you are part of a tier 1 institution please.

Industries our clients are looking for experience in:

Industruial or consumer or basic materials. If you have experience as a hedge fund analyst(at a 1bn+ AUM hedge fund) looking at another industry, you can send us your CV and in the event we have a client requirement that comes up; we will contact you (only candidates with experience within a hedge fund please).

Clients are looking for "juniors" with 2-5 years specialised experience on one of the above sectors, no more than that.

You must be a US citizen or have right to reside in the US.

Candidate profile: 

You have the above stated experience in a large hedge fund (1bn +AUM) or a long-short fund in a top (tier 1 only) bank or asset management firm.

The roles:

These will not be "assistant" roles; you will actively participate in the investment decision making process. A large portion of the role will involve balance sheet analysis and financial modelling. Advanced financial analysis skills are critical. Further desirable skills are a demonstrated experience in conducting analysis on complex cases such as M&As, leveraged buyouts, recapitalisations...
