Equity Analyst- Top US Prime brokerage

NJF Search is currently working with a top US brokerage that is looking to hire to senior level candidate to join their Equity Research team covering the IT hardware or Social Media sectors

This is a sell side publishing role and therefore requires a specific candidate who has a background in publishing research on the hardware or social media sectors. The research team currently consists of several junior research analysts, which you have responsibility for mentoring and guiding through the publication process.

Responsibilities include:

• Build and update financial models on companies within the sector
• Create and maintain detailed information databases and valuation comparables  
• Publish reports on the hardware or social media sector
• Prepare pre-results and post results updates on companies
• Develop relationships with internal and external clients including company IR departments  
• Work closely with both the editorial and sales team to ensure high quality research is being produced

This high demanding position will give the candidate the opportunity to have direct access to the Head of Research who sits with a close proximity to the desk. 

Skills Required:

• Essential to have over 8years of experience in the market
• CFA, MBA or ACA Qualification preferable
• Experience building and maintaining financial models  
• Excellent academics  
• Strong verbal and written skills  
• Proven team player
