BGOV combines date, analytic tools, and proprietary analysis in a single integrated product. The new product is designed for those most impacted by government actions, including Congress, the Administration, Beltway influencers (lobbyists, associations, etc.), and the business leaders (C-suite executives, government sales, government affairs, etc.).

Bloomberg Government is seeking a Director of Research. The Director, who should possess an impressive track record of original research, will direct Bloomberg Government's research across various industries-defense, technology, transportation, energy, healthcare and finance-and other issue areas- including tax, trade and labor. The Director will work with analysts and their team leaders to help generate ideas and produce original research that fulfills the organization's mission: quantifying the business impacts of government action. The candidate must understand the intersection of government and business; possess excellent management skills; and have exceptional quantitative skills to drive compelling insights and ensure accuracy. She/he will be involved in managing research from an idea's inception to final publication and public representation. The Director will be a skilled manager and team player who guides our research efforts in a collaborative and effective manner. The ideal candidate count be an economist, consultant, financial analyst, or public policy expert and must have a background in policy, business or financial analysis.
