Director Level - Equity Portfolio/Investment Strategist – Leading Wealth manager – New York

My Client is a leading Wealth manager who are currently looking to add an experienced Multi asset investment strategist to join their New York team.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Investment Strategy based in London and be given the opportunity to lead the US operation and continue building out their successful global platform.

 You will be responsible for all US Equity investment research for the client/model portfolio however the ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience across Equities in addition to exposure to Fixed Income from a global perspective.

In order to apply you must have:

• At least 5 years experience working as an equity strategist focusing on the US market but also a global outlook as well as exposure to other asset classes.
•  Regularly publish in the equity strategy space for a full range of equity as well as Multi asset products.
•  Developing forecasting, providing trade idea analysis and formulation
•  Managerial experience as you will be responsible for leading and supporting the equity strategy team.
•  Engaging in client interactions whether in a buy side or sell side capacity
•  Educated from a leading school

The ideal candidate will be at VP/Director level from the buy OR sell side and be based in New York.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm who are expanding operations globally with a particular focus on the US. You will have the opportunity o develop under the leadership of a highly respecting MD in this space yet be given the autonomy to grow your own team and take leadership for the US platform.
