CFO

Long/short hedge fund with a $300+ million AUM and 6 year track record seeks CFO/CCO with strong initiative.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing entire back-office and compliance function
• Reconciling positions, cash and NAV on a daily basis
• Reviewing administrators stat profiles, investor account statements and allocations
• Working with advisors to devise tax efficiency strategies (loss harvesting, wash sales)
• Coordinate annual audit, answer audit related questions, draft and review annual audited financial statements
• Oversee all compliance aspects of a Registered Investment Advisor
• Record keeping of Management Company expenses in Quickbooks
• Reviewing tax return filings, quarterly tax estimates, year end audit and K-1s
• Evaluating the firm’s overall financial needs and creating the annual operating budget for the business

Suggested Background:

• Prior fund experience
• Audit experience, preferably with national firm
