Very exciting opportunity passionate software engineers to join a fast growing tech start-up founded by two directors (and MIT alumni) from one of the world’s most recognisable names in social media. The company’s brand and numbers of unique users is growing exponentially and the combination of talented software engineers and extremely well regarded design / media / PR professionals has helped propel the company forward at a rapid rate.

Applicants will have experience of Java development, algorithm design, computer science fundamentals and possibly even low level optimisation/design, kernel hacking etc. Knowledge of functional programming (Haskell etc), databases and database theory are also beneficial. 

The environment is very technology focused and employees are passionate about programming and software development. Typically, employees contribute to opensource projects, topcoder etc and code in their spare time.

The financial rewards are potentially exceptional. The company is currently being courted by several private equity firms as well as larger silicon valley technology firms. Of the ~100 current employees, a large proportion are already paper millionaires. Salary can range from $100,000 to $250,000 dependant on experience.
