Securitized Products - Product Controller | New York (Associate – AVP) Circa: $100,000 - $120,000 + BONUS + BENEFITS

This Leading US Investment Bank is looking for a talented candidate to join their Global Business Services group, who provide analytic resources and support to the Securitizes Trading Business both in London and New York.

Responsibilities:

-Create and maintain analysis tools for Securitized Trading GBS as well as Front Office and Finance

-Maintain both the P&L and balance sheet for the business during the continuing integration process.

-Daily Risk and P&L production and verification for the Securitized trading desk.  Products covered include ABS, CMBS, and CDO Secondary trading, IRS products and hedges, Single name CDS / Index

-Assist with both the processes and controls in place around the balance sheet, and other general business control functions within the team including ad-hoc projects including integration.

Requirements:

-Product Control / Risk and P&L / Trading Assistant experience within ABS or CMBS

-MS office software skills is essential.

- Working knowledge of a programming language will put the candidate at an advantage.

-Ability to meet daily deadlines in a high pressure environment

-Excellent communication skills

-Working knowledge of credit products with trading / hedging strategies.

-Those familiar with INTEX will also be at an advantage

There will be broad exposure to a range of complex credit Securitized products. An appetite to quickly learn the products is essential, as is an ability to work effectively under pressure.
